To celebrate a new picture coming to the museum in 2026 (JOHN WEBBER – People of Prince William Sound in their canoes 1778)
John Webber was the official artist on Captain Cook’s third Pacific voyage, known for his drawings of landscapes and Indigenous peoples
We are running a creative class. You can choose to make a canoe like this one or paint a picture.
Location: Captain Cook Memorial Museum (Endeavour Room)
Time: 12.00pm - 4.00pm (please arrive 15 minutes earlier)
Hourly sessions: 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm
Capacity: 6 places per session (children to be accompanied by an adult)
Fee: FREE. Book in advance or at reception.
AGE: Children 3+
