18th CENTURY NAVIGATION
Learn how people navigated the seas over 200 years ago with no modern instruments. The quadrant was invented in the 1400s and used to measure latitude. Book into this workshop to make your own quadrant and other navigation activities.
Ages 3 and upwards; children are to be accompanied by an adult.
Location: Captain Cook Memorial Museum (Endeavour Room)
Time: 12.00pm - 4.00pm (please arrive 15 minutes earlier)
Hourly sessions: 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm
Capacity: 6 places per session (children to be accompanied by an adult)
